PURPOSE:
The Business Support Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering a comprehensive training program for Barasch &McGarry’s client-facing employees. This role focuses on equipping staff with the communication skills, soft skills, and industry knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service. By fostering strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities, the trainer will enhance team effectiveness in client interactions. Additionally, this role will support the continuous development of employees through ongoing training initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance requirements, and service excellence.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop and implement a structured and continuous training program that enhances communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills for client-facing employees.
- Design engaging training modules that incorporate best practices in soft skills development, active listening, and effective client interactions.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers and leadership to align training strategies with business objectives and operational needs.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and tailored to different roles within the firm.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, including role-playing, simulations, case studies, and group discussions, to promote active learning and engagement.
- Assess and refine training programs by collecting feedback and analyzing performance metrics to enhance learning outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in professional development, customer service training, and adult learning methodologies.
- Ensure training materials are accessible, clear, and effectively support employees in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Partner with HR to incorporate training initiatives into onboarding and professional development programs.
- Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to reinforce learning and encourage practical application in client interactions.
- Maintain a structured training schedule that accommodates both new hires and ongoing employee development.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Must work on-site Monday - Thursday, with Friday as an optional remote day.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product training or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies and principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to simplify complex product information and explain it to various audiences.
- Adept in using training tools and learning management systems (LMS).
- Experience with virtual and in-person training delivery.
- Proficient organizational and time management skills.
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills for delivering in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Ability to learn and teach new processes quickly and efficiently.
- Understand or be willing to learn both Personal Injury and Wrongful Death claim submission processes.
