WHO WE ARE: Barasch & McGarry is proud to be the leading law firm for the 9/11 community, a law firm dedicated to helping those affected by 9/11. Although the Environmental Protection Agency assured the public that "the air is safe," those living, working, volunteering, and going to or attending school near the 9/11 exposure zone breathed toxic air containing jet fuel, glass, fibers, and construction materials, and a host of known carcinogens. Tens of thousands of people have since been diagnosed with cancers and other illnesses, and thousands have had their deaths linked to the toxins.
Barasch & McGarry has successfully represented more 9/11 victims than any other law firm in the country. Since September 11th, thousands of our clients — first responders, workers, students, residents, and volunteers — have received more than $3 billion in funds from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. Additionally, we've helped thousands of 9/11 victims register for the free lifetime healthcare the World Trade Center Health Program provides. Barasch & McGarry is one of New York's most prominent firms concentrating on personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and firefighter rights.
Barasch & McGarry is an equal opportunity employer, where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications and is in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
